Breakfast was great and receptionist was awesome! We appreciated that front desk staff vetted people coming into the hotel. It made us feel safe. We also liked that the elevators required a room key before you could select a floor. It made us feel very secure. In addition, housekeeping was awesome! The one we had would find our kids' stuffed animals they left in the bed and cutely positioned them on the bed after it was made. It was a nice touch.

Can’t rightfully say actually, they had over booked our handicapped room even though I had stated in the notes of us needing it, not to mention it was a non-refundable room if we didn’t cancel before 2/26/24 by 11:59p.m., which of course we didn’t! I even called after booking it to verify that it was booked, and it was. I’m a T8 paraplegic (belly button down), hence the needing of a handicapped wheelchair accessible room , even stated in the notes of this, and asked them not to over book, or “ upgrade,” the room due to this fact, and that we were driving from like 4 1/2 hours away as well, but to no avail. There should be laws, rules, or higher standards of policies to not over book a NEEDED handicapped room, or for any room actually!! If ever room was accessible, there wouldn’t be as much of an issue, but I can’t use just any room when my chair can’t fit through the bathroom door, or have the room to turn my chair the way I need to for proper transfers, and such. Hotels need to do better, not just this one either!!! The ADA Act was passed in 1990, get up with the times!!!
